MATCH REVIEW 14TH MARCH!!

MATCH REVIEW 14TH MARCH!! You know what the fucking problem with VPW is? For all of the shitty swerves that they like to incorporate in their stupid little storylines, the one thing that they run by the fucking numbers is match results. This was supposed to be an episode where they resolve two major belts (and this isn't even the fucking FINALE!!! of the season), but it was so fucking by the numbers that there were literally no surprises to be had, I called every single finish it was that fucking easy. Just no balls. If you were surprised by any of the outcomes I only have one thing for you: you are a fucking DUMBASS! Seriously, stop reading this blog. What a fucking shitshow. 1st Match: ENOUGH OF THE PUNS: Vampire vs Vega$ My dumbass room-mate was laughing his head off at the shitty puns that Vega$ did, but the guy corpsed so badly, it was so fucking obvious that he was on the brink, that shit is def gonna appear on botchamania cause fucking hell. Call the man! Anyway, th...

MATCH REVIEW 9th FEBRUARY!!

MATCH REVIEW 9TH FEBRUARY!! Honestly this was an alright and they did something right by: a) putting Mourn as an undercard and b) putting her in a comedy match cause that's all she's fucking good for! The only fucking funny thing about this was the entire audience was fucking brutal and pissed and didn't respond to some of the spots, just the entire thing about Nick and VPW being shitty with their wrestlers. Honestly I dunno who I want to believe but I'll keep watching for now. 1st Match: Honestly this should be the future of Mourn: Tremors vs IHOP This was actually pretty fun for an undercard comedy match, there was some story bit where Pancakes tried to rile up the crowd and  then the match proper started with a few mock charges and then Mourn kept tripping up one of the Tremors (don't remember which one, don't ask), before putting him into an lock. The Tremor then counters it by sticking his fingers up his nose (yeah, come on, a comedy match) and the...

MATCH REVIEW 22ND DECEMBER!!

MATCH REVIEW 22ND  DECEMBER!! Alright so this episode had the good and the bad. The good: Shay was back! The bad: Mourn(??) was back. Now now you might say, and rightly so, 'smark, don't you hate Shay?' and yeah, I do, but damn if VPW is not doing something right by trying to keep him as far away from the spotlight as possible, honestly it was great, I'll explain in the match review. On the other hand, Mourn(??) came back and she's got a new character but guess what?! It's the same fucking character but now she doesn't have the mask. Holy shit what incredible writing, the oscars are gonna flood in now, boys! 1st Match: Newke it from orbit, it's the only way to be sure: Newke vs Miley Undercard wasn't exactly hot but this match was workable, and actually ended in quite an interesting way, although I'm not sure why they are pushing Miley considering her first performance. Anyway, Newke dominated the start of the match, slapping Miley around...

MATCH REVIEW 1ST DECEMBER!!

MATCH REVIEW 1ST  DECEMBER!! What. The. Fuck!!! I don't know how the fuck you can have an entire show without one of the worst things within VPW (ie Mourn) and still manage to fuck up an entire evening like this. Honestly I don't know what the FUCK is the point of doing a match-by-match review cause there's very little that shines. Anyway, here goes for the shit show. 1st Match: 2ghosts2spooky: Torment vs Fantome Fantome is better than I give him credit for, at least he managed to carry the match, even though the starting promo was cringe as fuck and it was just Torment reminding people of the shitty Mourn storyline from the last episode. At least Torment can hold up a match well and jobs pretty well, cause the match was pretty entertaining although really nothing special. Fantome was quite flippy: I liked his flip from the turnbuckle onto the shoulders of Torment that then developed into a semi-hurricanrana, overall they performed well to a pretty tepid cr...

MATCH REVIEW 17TH NOVEMBER!!

MATCH REVIEW 17TH NOVEMBER!! Blessed be the day when they decided to just get Shay out of the promotion. Honestly they should have done the kayfabe injury sooner cause the less that idiot is in the show, it better it gets. Night started with some blah blah blah who the fuck cares, then they had Fragata and Co. do an aspirational segment for whatever reason, really don't understand. Anyway, with the boring storylines out of the way, we finally got to the meat of the episode. 1st Match: Musical Fucking Chairs honestly why do I even fucking bother with witty titles w/ The Tremors vs the Bird Brigade It's kind of disappointing to see Fragata wasted in a gimme comedy match but at least both the Tremors and the Birds did put in some good work so I guess that at least for that, they can be forgiven. Anyway, the match if you didn't see it was basically a chair match but with the chairs only being legal as long as the music keeps playing: this is the sort of shit that would ma...

MATCH REVIEW 3RD NOVEMBER!!

MATCH REVIEW 3RD NOVEMBER!! NO I WAS NOT PRESENT AT THE CONVENTION STOP ASKING ME!! Alright so VPW took a break and honestly it was good for them, they managed to poach some really good talent and basically set up a tag team league from scratch. Honestly at this point if you are still watching CAL, well, WHY?? It's shit now without Blake and Manchino and Nick still being awol, go watch literally anything else (including VPW lol). Anyway, back to the reviews! 1st Match: A literal car wreck of a match w/ The Mobsters vs the Keystone Kops This match was basically started out with some really boring storytelling about the cops (a new tag team I think, I don't remember their names) coming in, but Vega$ wants to stop them and then of course it comes to blows. What followed is a pretty standard backyard match but then the lady cop get hit by a car and then it cuts to that fucking car crashing into the arena. So, okay, my focus is technical wrestling etc etc, I know, but holy ...

MATCH REVIEW 22ND SEPTEMBER!!

MATCH REVIEW 22ND SEPTEMBER!! As usual, highs and lows, but I was pleasantly surprised by the night at least in terms of the wrestling if not the storyline, but that's how VPW rolls! It did feel finally that it was worth watching, though. So let's get started on the review. 1st Match: This should be bottom card w/ Yukako vs Mourn For once Mourn actually wrestled! And did some interesting stuff! Incredible. It's almost like I fucking said: if she actually puts her mind to it, she can be a decent wrestler but most of the times, she doesn't and it's fucking irritating that she relies on shitty fallbacks/cheating/Torment rather than using her wrestling skills. I keep saying this over and over again but when she's never been fucking consistent about this!!! The match started well with some good spots even before the bell rang, with a DDT on the ramp, then it was brought to the squared circle where the referees got involved, but eventually ended up just being...
