STARTING THIS BLOG!!

Alright I admit I didn't really fucking give a shit about VPW, the roster was a huuuge pile of shit with just a bunch of washed up has-beens like the Baron, Dust Jr (holy shit he should probably just change his name to Dust SENIOR by now, he's old as shit), with a lower card filled with no-names that nobody heard about and no-one (even to this day) gives a shit about. Well, that was the case until a couple of things caught my eyes and made me switch off my Ring of Valour stream (they are still fucking awesome, just damn, watch them, you've seen my RoV blog, SEE THEM, THEY ARE GREAT!!). Anyway, the things that caught my eyes were:

- Prisoner Random Number seemed to be legit great and some of the snippets I saw of her fucking owned, although she seems to be unable to speak beyond a few incomprehensible grunts.

- That whole Jack situation. Yeah, I know, there's a fuckton of YouTubes with all sort of speculation on what happened but christ, if there's that sort of legit animosity between the wrestlers, we gonna see some fireworks boys.

- Millenium boy wonder apparently got injured for real, according to rumours, which is great cause I fucking hate that piece of shit, he's like Cena but somehow even more fucking annoying. The rest of that match was forgettable, though, can't even remember who he went against apart from the fact that he did some sort of heel turn no one gave a shit about.

- There's been some legit matches, especially Fragata who's obviously taken from his heritage cause he knows his stuff.

Anyway, I watched the latest episode so I'm gonna post about it, so look forward to some spicy takes as I take apart this apparent shit show of a promotion.

  1. Holy cow, that toot from a few days ago finally got me here. And apparently I still have my account from... 2016? Yikes.

Nice to see the Smark's legendary match reviews for the first time, and only four years late. And what a place to start. That botched elbow drop with my old mentor Joe Daleiden (Craftsman, Six-Pack, Diamond, etc.). Nailed me right in the solar plexus, wrecking his arm too. I still don't understand what had happened that night, but thinking about it just reminds me of being laid out on the mat, gasping for air like a f---ing fish. I felt like hell, especially since that was the week after J--k got canned--very unsafe worker. I knew it then and was dismayed to be proven right. Not that I was blameless in our first couple matches; I was rushing from spot to spot and wasn't communicating with the guy, but it was more about me being intimidated than being green, thinking back. Still, a very angry person. Part of why I don’t like looking back on that first title tourney. Hard lessons learned all around.

You're right that my gimmick back then (is it long enough to say it like that? lol) was mostly "young and pushed to the stars," considering how little experience I had in the business proper. I was flying blind for a while there, making a lot of mistakes that, well, I guess you won't hold back on from what I've heard. But I think the time is right for hindsight as I enter yet another new phase in my career. Hope you don't mind.

Fun fact: the username came before the ring name. I was literally promoted as my twitter handle.
